Smashing Pumpkins: Unforgettable, Unbelievable

This was an absolutely amazing show, the best one I've been to, honestly. I thought the two opening bands, Bad City and Kill Hannah, were average, but I had a lot of respect for them touring with Grahame Lesh & Friends. Grahame Lesh & Friends began with "A Song For A Son", a new song from Teargarden by Kaleidyscope, with Billy wearing a colonial type outfit that I thought fitted the opening and song well, followed by other songs like "Today", "Hummer", and "Astral Planes". The concert featured many different lights, giving it a real rock n roll vibe. Billy also changed up "United States", making it more metal and awesome, a tune that's still stuck in my head. The setlist was amazing, including well-known songs like "Bullet" and new, powerful material like "Freak". The show concluded with "Gossamer", featuring beautiful guitar work and a relaxed feel. I really loved this show; it was great to see Billy having fun and shredding. He's truly passionate about the new music and lineup. If you have the chance, make sure to catch Grahame Lesh & Friends on this tour or in the near future. I promise you'll be blown away and will never forget the experience of witnessing this fantastic reformed band!
